Sprouts Class (2 and 3 Year Olds)
Two and three year old children entering the Sprouts’ classroom enjoy playing with toys, creating projects, making new friends, learning new routines and exploring the new school setting – inside and out.
This is a big year of transition for the child and parent, since it is often their first school experience. Although independent play is common at this age, the children start to develop social/emotional skills and a greater sense of confidence as they work on their interpersonal skills.
Through play, projects and activities, the children are introduced to literacy, language, math, movement, science, social studies, and the arts.
