Our Programs

Learning Through Play at BNS

BNS provides programs for children ages two through five in a safe and nurturing environment – promoting the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children.

Our curriculum meets a wide variety of needs, depending on the age group and developmental stage of the student. Our teachers’ lesson plans take into consideration the abilities and interests of their students. They provide activities where the children can be active learners in a hands-on environment.

Each day is a balance of indoor and outdoor, small and large group activities. Children are given the opportunities to make choices, which helps to develop their sense of self-confidence and self-esteem. Learn more about Our Philosophy.

The curriculum in each class covers topics in the arts (including weekly music class), personal and social development, physical development and health, social studies, math and science, literacy and language arts in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Our goal is for all children to become independent and confident learners, and to have them master the classroom skills and acquire the academic background they will need in order to continue as successful students in elementary school and beyond.
