Optional On-site Extended Day Programs

The school day at BNS begins at 9:30 a.m and is concluded at 12 noon on Monday through Friday. However each day of the week, there are optional enrichment programs to extend the day.

• Lunch Bunch - BNS offers this Lunch Bunch after-school program any student who is three years of age or older and who is toilet-trained. The children bring their lunch to school and join a teacher and an aide for a program of creative activities, games, free play, lunch, stories, and outdoor play. Lunch Bunch is currently available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 noon to 2:20 p.m.
• Soccer - The Darrel Gee Soccer Academy coaches soccer in the field behind the clubhouse for fall and spring program; winter soccer is available off-site. The children eat lunch with their parents and join soccer from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoons.
• Spanish - After school children are invited to attend an immersion Spanish class offered by Cecilia Johnson. Cecilia and her aide, Daniela, keep the children busy with fun activities in Spanish. The children eat lunch and then join Spanish currently on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m.
• Jump Bunch - Jump Bunch is a structured, year-round sports and fitness program geared for young children. It is currently held immediately after school from noon to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

These optional extracurricular activities are charged in addition to tuition and are available on a space-available basis.
